"Made in the Negev" - Musicians' Program
The Merage Foundation promotes, nurtures and preserves young and original talent from the Negev. For this reason, the Foundation launched its "Made in the Negev" program, which aims to reveal the unique musical creations that come from the Negev and to be an address for musicians in the region.
To this end, the Foundation has harnessed the country's best music teachers, led by Yehuda Eder, a founder of the Rimon Music School , a senior music producer and longtime guitarist.
The Merage Foundation and Rimon Music School's "Made in the Negev" program works on two levels: on the one hand, it exposes and promotes original musicians working in the Negev; and on the other, aims to be a home for musicians from all over the country, who want to move to the Negev and engage in their work.
During the program, we provide artists with guidance from the best professionals in the field of music in Israel. The program operates in order to produce the appropriate infrastructure for musicians in the Negev, which will help them to break through into the heart of Israeli music industry.
This infrastructure includes formulating musical materials; album production and recording; support and professional guidance; targeted promotion and marketing, and a link between musician and music industry leaders in Israel.
